Hyena in a sheep skin

As the elections for the local municipalities a few weeks away, we (the poor citizens) are bombarded by politician's visits whereby they come and promise to buy trains while we don't even have railway to begin with. Let's brace ourselves as this is the only time we will get to shake their hands, hug and they'll be pretending to be sympathising only to dash to wonderland up-on casting our vote's for them.

During the past months Mzansi saw ample protests regarding service delivery than any other era and as such it's not surprising that majority of the people are so sceptical of voting as it has been proven that despite 'a better life for all' nothing really changes or improves in terms of their living conditions.

Recent reports about the State Security Minister's daughter appointment as Chief Financial Officer for the Independent Complaints Directorate raised eye-brows and caused an uproar. At age 25, with 2-years of experience and yet holding such a high position in a country where over qualified graduates are unemployed. I must say she is living a golden life. If she was appointed on merit (though another experienced applicant from the Treasury was over-looked) can I (based on my age) raise my hand as I believe i can be the Head of Commercial Radio for the national broadcaster... Obviously i won't be considered as i don't have family, relatives, or contacts in high places. Perhaps my qualification(s) is/are inferior to her's as she might have studied
abroad.

These power-hungry monger's are so obsessed with self-enrichment and forgetting about the poor. Does being in the struggle entitle one to the country's economy? Make no mistake...as they will lend an ear when canvassing but dare them to lead then you will hear arrogant responses like 'that's rubbish' when asked about questionable appointments. To further rub the salt in the wound they brag about:

a) Ruling until Jesus comes;

b) Voting for them being a passway to heaven;

c) Dubbing themselves to Jesus and his 12 disciples.

Isn't it a sin to mock the word of God?

And yes! Not forgetting how they degrade human-being by building open-end loo and chowing parliament moolah, fighting for positions and causing factions while the poor get NO SERVICE WHATSOEVER!
