Music is regarded as the food to the soul and send your spirit on a wild goose chase, it has been proved beyond reasonable doubt that it's a crucial aspect of our lives to such extend that had it not been in existence chances are we (people) would have being insane.
Everybody loves music though it may not be the same genre; the bottom line is one way or the other human torso will move either willingly or reluctantly to a beat.
Dancing or singing along to a tune releases the child in you but with our leaders always looking so serious in public; have you ever wondered what kind of music they listen to when they are alone in their homes or perhaps functions bearing in mind how they walk and all.
Nelson Mandela and Kgalema Motlanthe are some of those who keep me in the loop as for Thabo Mbeki i believe i have an idea cause I'm convinced he is inspired by 'The People's Poet' hence his 'I am an African' poem as for Jacob Zuma throw in Vusi Ximba, Izingane zoma which is why he can 'lahl'umlenze' and 'gida' but don't you dare delay him with 'umshini wakhe' otherwise you will be re-shuffled.
In an imaginary interview with Madiba having made his shirts and dance famous i can hear him say 'I love Mabrrr' with my black president and not forgeting Mama Afrika. Kgalema, hmmm! I'd like to believe he is into a little bit of those seTswana traditional music with their dances.
I must say though that it isn't easy being on the fore-front leading the country because even when journo's put you in a tight spot with their silly queries you must never loose your cool but have a way to contain them unless you are Julius but then he isn't leading any country, that's a sight relief...!
